Approved by the City Council of Venice the zoning modification in the master plan for the construction of a sustainable building with total accessibility for both motor and sensory disabilities according to ICF parameters. This building with the area of pertinence, is proposed to be integrated in the framework of the initiatives of the Veneto Region and the "Accessible City of Venice," aimed at making usable an environment such as Malamocco, a place extraordinarily rich in history, culture, natural beauty between sea and lagoon with its characteristic lagoon gardens, but unfortunately lacking in facilities capable of offering hospitality for a few hours or a few days, to people with limitations and special needs, whether residents or visitors. Some design solutions have been included in the project in order to make the building fully accessible to people with both mobility and sensory disabilities. To this end, functional aids and equipment are provided for personal mobility, communication and information, usability of places and perception of the environment.
